HH Gopal Krishna Goswami met the honorable President of India, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee on June 12th, 2014, and presented him with the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust's deluxe edition of Bhagavad Gita As It Is.

Gopal Krishna Goswami met the President at his official residence in New Delhi, presenting the Gita and maha-prasad. He thanked the President for inaugurating ISKCON's Pune center and invited him to inaugurate the upcoming 12-acre project in Kanpur. The President expressed his pleasure, noting that ISKCON is a good organization doing good work.
