The golden appearance and childhood pastimes of Lord Chaitanya, His debate with Kesava Kasmiri, and His acceptance of the sannyasa order.
The Golden Appearance in Navadvipa
Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu appeared at Sridhama Mayapura in Navadvipa, Bengal, on the Phalguni Purnima evening of 1486 AD. His father was Sri Jagannatha Mishra and His mother was Srimati Sacidevi.
Born during a lunar eclipse when the country was roaring with the chanting of the Holy Names, His appearance indicated His mission. In His childhood, He would only stop crying when ladies chanted the holy name, thus beginning His preaching from infancy.

Early Miracles & The Kashmiri Pandita Debate
Once, a touring Brahmana prepared food to offer child Krishna. Nimai came and ate it, spoiling the offering. This happened three times (even when Nimai was locked in a room, He put everyone to sleep and came to eat). Finally, the Lord revealed His real form to the Brahmana, who danced in ecstasy.
At age 16, Nimai started His own school. A champion scholar named Keshava Kashmiri came to Navadvipa. Nimai Pandita met him on the banks of the Ganges and memorized a hundred slokas the pandita composed on the spot. Nimai pointed out rhetorical irregularities (like the word bhavani-bhartuh, which is redundant). The Kashmiri Pandita surrendered to the Lord after being instructed in a dream by Goddess Sarasvati.

The Sankirtan Movement & Renunciation
At age 24, Nimai Pandita accepted sannyasa from Keshava Bharati in Katwa, becoming a full-time preacher of Bhagavata-dharma.
He initiated the Nama Sankirtan movement, giving the world the powerful Hare Krishna Maha Mantra:
His teachings confirm that Lord Sri Krishna, Vrindavana-dhama, and the worship of the damsels of Vraja represent the highest spiritual reality, with the ultimate goal being prema (pure love of God).
