Historical Background
Food for Life is ISKCON international relief initiative, inspired by Srila Prabhupada directive that No one within ten miles of a temple should go hungry. Since 1974, ISKCON has served billions of plant-based meals worldwide.
Spiritual Significance
Annadana (donation of food) is considered the highest form of charity in Vedic culture. When the food is first offered to Lord Krishna, it becomes sanctified prasadam that purifies the heart and elevates consciousness.
Blessings & Benefits
By sponsoring meals, you feed the hungry and give them the opportunity to receive Krishna prasadam. The Bhagavad-gita states that offering food to the Lord and sharing it with others brings immense spiritual merit.
Our Sacred Promise
100% of your donation goes directly to the seva you choose. We are committed to transparency and responsible stewardship of every contribution made with love and devotion.
